On Friday, June 18, 2004, LILLIAN THORA ROURKE of Lethbridge passed away peacefully at the age of 92 years.
She will be lovingly remembered by her three children and their families; Eleanor and Vic Bzdell (Sharmaine and Perry
Mirkovich), Dolores and Carl Halldorson (Shaunda and Bob Gudnason, (James and Donna Halldorson), and Ralph and
Darlene Rourke (Jerry Rourke, Shelley Rourke). Also mourning her passing are her great-grandchildren Kayla and Kelsey
Mirkovich; Samuel, Erica, Rebecca, Madison and Maxwell Gudnason; and Courtney and Justin Halldorson.
Her parents, husband Ralph, and infant son Harvey predeceased Lillian.
Lillian's true love was her family. She enjoyed family gatherings, took pride in the accomplishments of her children and grandchildren, and delighted in
watching her great-grandchildren grow. Above all, she will be remembered as a gentle and compassionate woman, a loving and supportive wife, a sensitive
and caring mother, a fun-loving grandmother, and a respected friend to all.
A quiet family service was held on Sunday, June 20, 2004 at the Martin Bros. Riverview Chapel.
Flowers are gratefully declined. Those who wish may make memorial donations to a charity of their choice.
