DAVID CHARLES ROURKE It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of David Rourke on April 20, 2005 at St. Boniface Hospital with his wife Marilyn by his side. David will be lovingly remembered by his wife Marilyn; daughter Julia; son Garrett; parents, Charles and Elizabeth Rourke from Ontario; two sisters, Cathy (Mike), Carrie (Rob) and their families; father-in-law Lionel; brothers-in-law, Mark from Ontario and Gary (Sophie) from Quebec; and extended family and friends. David was born on July 31, 1955. He grew up in Owen Sound and moved to Toronto to complete his education in engineering at the University of Toronto. He worked for many years for Bell Canada before coming to Winnipeg in 1998 to accept a position with MTS. Prior to his death he was President and Chief Operating Officer of MTS Media. The family would like to thank the staff of Manitoba Telecom Services/Allstream for their ongoing love and support. The care and support that David received from CancerCare Manitoba will long be remembered. A celebration of David's life will be held on Tuesday, April 26 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Andrews River Heights United Church, 255 Oak St. at the corner of Kingsway.
