ROURKE, Charles Austin "Bud" - Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Lee Manor in Owen Sound on Monday, March 28th, 2016 at the age of 88. Beloved husband of Elizabeth Rourke (nee Sanderson) for 64 years. Loving father of the late David Rourke and his wife, Marilyn, of Winnipeg; Cathy and her husband Mike Kelly of Ajax, and Carrie and her husband Rob Currie of Owen Sound. Cherished grandfather of Julia Rourke, Garrett Rourke, Adam Kelly (Priscilla), Jason Kelly (Jenn), Andrew Kelly (Katie Vaughan), Elise Currie (Mark Douglas) and Chad Currie (Kelly Hawke). Very special great-grandpa to Olivia, Emma, Isabelle, and Margaret Kelly; and Milo Douglas. Previously deceased by his sister, Wilda Kelly. Bud will be missed by the Rourke and Sanderson families; his brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, his many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. The family would like to thank the nursing staff on 6-2 at GBRHC and 2 South Staff at Lee Manor for their wonderful care and compassion. A Celebration of Bud's Life will be held on Saturday April 2nd, 2016 at 11:30 am at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, 865 First Avenue West, Owen Sound, with Rev. Dana Benson officiating.
