Rourke Family Tree
Jerry Rourke
Michael Samuel Rourke was
one of 11 children born of John Rourke and Ann
Eveleigh in Rawdon, Quebec, Canada. John
arrived in Quebec in 1826 from a port in Dublin,
Ireland. Four of his boys left Quebec and
settled in Ontario, Canada in the Amabel Township.
Michael travelled by wagon from Rawdon to Park Head
where he built a saw mill. He and his wife Emily
Amey had 16 children, 3 died very young. This family
tree site will honor their memories and their hard
work that brought all of us decendants into being. I
will try to add to this web-site as time allows,
hope to post pictures and links to help bring all
Rourke relations together. Thank-you very much for
visting, hope you enjoy the site!
