It is with deep sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Scott Forrester on Friday, September 5, 2008 in Thunder Bay, ON Scott was born on January 5, 1975 to Barbara and Dave Forrester in Fort Frances. Scott attended public school and high school in Fort Frances. He later attended Sault College in Sault Saint Marie and Confederation College in Thunder Bay, where he took mechanical engineering. This led him to a career he loved and excelled at. As a child, Scott took an active part in the family boarding kennel business. He loved animals, especially, his cat Barney. He played hockey from Novice to Bantam league. Outdoor life was always a focus for him. Camping, boating, fishing, hunting, snowmobiling and dirt-biking were some of his passions. If it had a motor, he loved it! He also was passionate about music, playing guitar with his two buddies in a garage band and later developing a love of singing. His daughter, Taylor was the light of his life. He moved to Thunder Bay to allow himself to be closer to her and her mother Lisa. Scott spent many years battling heroically with the disease of alcoholism. He has been deeply loved and will be greatly missed by so many people. Left to cherish Scott's memory is his daughter Taylor Forrester and her mother Lisa Hautamaki of Thunder Bay, ON, his mother Barb (Bernie) Cousineau of Fort Frances, ON, his maternal grandparents Dorothy and Murray Sumner of London, ON, his aunts and uncles, Brenda and Gord Heath and their children Kristin (Ryan) Simms and Brad (Joanna) Heath and their daughter Lianne, all of Ottawa, ON, Eileen Beattie, Jean Riddick and Mary Storey and their families, all of London, ON. He was predeceased by his father David John Forrester on May 7, 1992, his paternal grandparents John and Vidal Forrester, and his maternal grandmother, Eileen Sumner.
