It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Garth Rourke of Colonsay, SK on June 24, 2014 after an incredibly courageous battle with cancer. He will be greatly missed by his wife, Sandra, his daughter, Darla and his son, Dean (Sara). The family would like to extend our sincere heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all those that visited Garth during his lengthy stay at St. Paul's Hospital Palliative Care Unit in Saskatoon, SK, and for the exceptional care and compassion given to Garth by the staff and volunteers that allowed him to feel at home during his stay with them and to die with dignity. There will be no funeral at Garth's request.
