ROURKE, Irene Ruth In loving memory of Irene, 89, who passed away peacefully on October 21, 2010. She will be forever loved by her children Gloria (Harold), Garry (Sharon) and Susan (Doug), six grandchildren, and eleven greatgrandchildren. She was predeceased by her beloved parents, Joseph and Ruth Rourke, and nine sisters and brothers. Irene was born and raised on the family homestead just south of Elfros. After she married Bob Smith, the family moved to Carrot River, Foam Lake, Zealandia, Guelph (ON) before settling in Saskatoon. For over 40 years, Irene was the neighborhood Avon Lady and then, after her divorce, worked full-time at Quality Jewellers. Irene was an active member of Grace-Westminster United Church and in a number of dance clubs. A memorial service will follow at a later date.
